Adequate Room near the Centre

convenient locationhelpful staffcold roomno hot water
The location was convenient. The staff members were helpful. The room was lovely, nice and neat (I was really happy about it!).
The room was a little chilly in the evening. I hate it when the heating is externally controlled. I feel like I have to ask for something when it should be included. There was no hot water in the room or the bathroom so I couldn't bath or shower.

serene coastal escape

tidy roomcomfortable bedsecure storagepoor soundproofing
our room was tidy and the bed proved comfortable, perfect for restful nights after seaside strolls. the shared bathroom sparkled, it was consistently clean and well-kept. the owners were very accommodating, they allowed us to store our touring bikes securely. the location was also great, we were close to the beach and the town center.
The soundproofing in our room could have been better. Some noise from the stairs disturbed our peace during the early evening.

Good Value Central Stay

easy accesssimple decorationpractical amenitiesloose shelves
The location provided easy access to the door key (using codes). My room suited one person. Simple decoration was in place. I had shower lotion and towels in the room (practical amenities). There is another building nearby. It has a different address (important to note).
The loose shelves needed maintenance. One was virtually hanging off the wall. No towels were provided inside the room. Ordinary towels were available in the communal bathroom. I found no bath towel available.
Service
9/10
The proprietors were helpful and agreed to my early check-in. They sorted out the TV for me. Their responsiveness and willingness to address issues promptly contributed positively to my stay. I thought it was a good service.
Dining
8/10
Though I did not have extensive meals (I mainly ate out), the breakfast area was clean. It had sufficient space . There seemed to be a reasonable selection of items available in the morning.
Rooms
9/10
The room was light and airy. It was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice. The TV in the room was unexpected (but welcomed). I appreciated the value for money that it provided.
